C2C Announces the Launch of Youth Resource Platform
The Cradle-to-Career Partnership (C2C), anchored at United Way of Tucson and Southern Arizona, today announced the launch of the Youth on the Rise Youth Resource Platform to support C2C’s mission of preparing every child in the community for success in school and life, including the nearly 17,000 Opportunity Youth in Pima County. Opportunity Youth are individuals aged 16-24 who are disengaged from school and/or career pathways.
The digital platform serves as a guide to key services, resources, and information, in areas including housing, education, employment, health services, and more, to ease navigation of the complex systems in Pima County. The platform also streamlines access to service providers in Southern Arizona that can help address these needs. It was developed in conjunction with young adults across the community who provided crucial feedback on the usability of the platform and the types of resources available.
“There are so many organizations across our community doing amazing work to help young people, and we’re pleased that the Youth Resource Platform brings all of this information together in one place, providing a helpful hub for getting young people the assistance they need, when they need it,” stated Melissa Hernandez, associate vice president of the Cradle to Career Partnership at United Way of Tucson and Southern Arizona.
