C2C Releases Report on Post-Secondary Pathways in Community

Sep 9, 2022 | News, Post-Secondary

Cradle to Career and the Post-Secondary Enrollment and Completion Change Networks are releasing “Post-Secondary Pathways: Learnings from the Community,” a summary of the major learnings on post-secondary pathways and barriers that exist in Tucson and Southern Arizona.

Earlier this year, Cradle to Career conducted listening sessions with community members to better understand the barriers to post-secondary pathways as part of the Post-Secondary’s Change Networks collaborative action. These sessions prioritized the voices of racially and ethnically diverse youth and young adults not currently in a high school or on a post-secondary education pathway, as well as self-identified learners from low socioeconomic backgrounds.

This report summarizes the major themes from these listening sessions, including the support needs, financial attainability, and the importance of peer support in post-secondary education. This report also includes links to resources for community members needing information and support.
